Commercial Projects
New York Blower Company
This 20,000 square foot project was for a well-established Company with a national sales force. The original space had originally been poorly planned, and services were not well identified. We worked to correctly locate their primary functions and services – Management and Sales offices, Accounting department, shared filing systems, conference room, and eating areas.
We developed a new image for the Company: successful, updated, stable and friendly. The look was completed with a peaceful and functional granite waterfall.
Salon From Dream to Reality
This client, an upscale salon, understood the need for quiet elegance, a bit of intimacy, and a touch of drama in their environment.
From concept to opening day, we served this client as their design director -- ensuring each detail was considered and coordinated. The salon was built in three levels, incorporating reception, cosmetics, spa, and hair care zones.
Submitted to The National Hairdressers Association, and out of 4,000 entries, this Salon was selected as first place in its category.
Restaurant Redesign
After many years in the existing site, the client sought a designer who could execute on their radical new vision: a redesigned space suitable for a destination restaurant featuring fine food.
The project required extensive interior architectural knowledge to develop the food service environment from their ideas.
We surveyed the competition, developed a design direction, and created the design concept drawings which brought the project to reality.
Luxury Fitness Center
Knowing they wanted a designer beyond ordinary, the architect behind Hinsdale Force, a luxury private fitness center, introduced his client to Carol Guess. After listening to their vision and learning about the necessity to raise capital, the Carol Guess team created a virtual reality video.
Using the video as a sales and marketing tool, Hinsdale Force signed on members three months in advance. When the center opened for business, eager members flocked in.
Video in hand, the architect developed the technical drawings needed for the build-out of this 3000 sq. ft. facility.
